Most people try visit the club a few times before they decide to become a member.

 

If you are interested in coming to a Toastmasters meeting, you can just drop in at our meeting on Thursdays at 6:30 AM at the Oregon State Building in Northeast Portland. We'll get you quickly acquainted and you will get a chance to see what a meeting is like. People are offered the chance to speak briefly in their first meeting if they would like to, but you don't have to.

 

After you come to a meeting, you'll have the chance to join and become a member of the club. As of 2009, the membership fee is $27 every six months. There is also a $20 initiation fee when you decide to join for the first time. Some people attend a bunch of times before they ever join. Feel free to just drop in and see what we have to offer.
